Lake Elmo Park Reserve

The Lake Elmo Park Reserve is Washington County’s most popular park and receives about half a million visits annually. To maintain the high standard of customer service, limiting construction impacts on the user experience was the main project goal. Maintaining a high level of service within the park was accomplished by various infrastructure upgrades within the 80-site modern campground and along the 3.8-mile Eagle Point Trail. These improvements included upgrading the modern campground, landscape architecture upgrades, replacing a playground, demolishing and replacing an existing building, drainage improvements to an existing turf trail, adding a trailhead and restroom building, and adding a new gravel parking lot and access.
