MSP Airport Layout Plan (E-ALP) and Zoning Updates

TKDA Steers Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport’s Shift to e-ALP Layout Plan

As part of an on-going relationship with the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), TKDA provided professional engineering, aviation planning, project management, field surveying, and data processing services to support the development of an electronic Airport Layout Plan (e-ALP).

Project efforts included the acquisition of a highly accurate survey by airport mapping subconsultant Quantum Spatial in performing an Airspace Analysis in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular 150/5300-18B for all MSP runways. TKDA worked closely with the FAA to navigate the new e-ALP program and successfully define the required data entry to gain approval for the e-ALP.
